Creating a Grymn Force XI

Another Old Crow vehicle, this time a heavy AFV known as the Claymore. Painted with the same treatment as the earlier vehicles.

This is still waiting the modular magnetic weapons, and needs a few finishing details like lights and also hull stowage. I think this one might also get some camoflage netting over the rear hull (probably etched brass).

I really must get on with painting some more grymn to go with these vehicles.

Creating a Grymn Force X

Old Crow Slingshot AFV provides the first (almost) complete armoured support for my very slow growing Grymn force.

I recently discovered Tamiya Weathering Powders and this is my first attempt at their use. This model has been liberally rubbed with the snow effect. I like the way it has muted the colours and produced a suitably wintery feel while retaining a powdery feel.

I still have the detachable magnetic weapons to paint and a few other minor details. Next up, the Old Crow Claymore.

Unknown 6mm (1:300) Dwarf Army

I came across this 6mm Dwarf army whilst clearing away some other figures recently... I have no idea where I got it from - does anyone recognise the figures?

Unknown 6mm Dwarf army:

The army is made up of : (Each stand comprises 5 figures)

  • 9 stands of axe armed dwarfs with command
  • 9 stands of spear armed dwarfs with command
  • 5 stands of cross bows with command
  • 3 mounted generals/leaders
  • 1 wizard
  • 2 baggage trains.

The Slaughterman

Four incarnations of an old RPG and PBM character I played.

The Slaughterman

The Girls of Dorm B

Straight from Miss Hetheringtons Finishing School for Young Ladies come the grils of Dormatory B. Based on characters from a defunct PBM I played in, these pictures show the girls armed in a ramshakle way to defend their honour...

I've been looking for a 28mm sized (or 1/50 ish scale) tennis racket to model onto the eugenie figure for some time.... suggestions?

The figures are mostly from Hasslefree, although i can't place the Jocaster figure. Ideas?
